  • Built from Yamaha’s elite 11-ply hybrid shell:

    • Core: Jatoba provides punch and focused low-end.

    • Middle plies: Kapur adds warmth and midrange depth.

    • Outer/inner plies: North American maple, often topped with burled ash for added aesthetic and tonal characte

      Finish & Aesthetic

      • GBCS stands for Garnet Black Cherry Sunburst — a satin/matte garnet-red center fading into darker edges, over a burled ash or maple veneer.

      • This bold yet refined burst is designed to evoke a blend of elegance and subtle stage presence.

      • Though often seen with chrome hardware, it can also be outfitted with gold hoops, lugs, and Y.E.S.S. mount for a richer contrast.
