  • Center core: Jatoba — dense and hard for strong low-end punch.

  • Middle plies: Kapur — adds warmth and rich midrange.

  • Outer plies: North American maple — brings clarity, resonance, and sustain.

• This hybrid construction delivers a full-bodied, warm tone with excellent projection and dynamic response.

• 30° rounded bearing edges — create a deeper, warmer, and more controlled tone.

• 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops — lightweight yet rigid, for crisp attack and stable tuning.

• Hook lugs with internal locking system — ensure precise, consistent tuning while minimizing shell interference.

• YESS II (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mount — isolates the tom from hardware, allowing for maximum shell resonance and sustain.
