Mounting & Hardware

• Equipped with Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. II (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system, which uses a shock-isolated maple plate. This allows the shell to resonate freely, preserving tone and sustain.

• 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops are used — lighter than traditional die-cast hoops but still strong enough to focus the attack and improve tuning consistency.

• Features Yamaha’s hook lugs with internal locks, which reduce shell contact and simplify even tensioning for more consistent tuning.
