Shell Construction & Tone

• Hybrid Shell Design: The drum features an 11-ply hybrid shell consisting of a Jatoba core, surrounded by Kapur and North American Maple inner and outer plies. This combination delivers a balanced tone with enhanced warmth and projection.

• Bearing Edge: Equipped with a 30° bearing edge with an R4 radius, the tom produces a warm, rounded tone with excellent sustain, characteristic of PHX toms.
