• Bearing Edge: Equipped with a 30° bearing edge with an R4 radius, the tom produces a warm, rounded tone with excellent sustain, characteristic of PHX toms.

• Y.E.S.S. II Mounting System: Utilizes Yamaha's Y.E.S.S. II (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System), which employs a shock-isolated maple plate to maximize shell resonance and sustain.
