Pioneer DDJ-800 DJ Controller for Rekordbox

The DDJ-800 is designed to help you get the most from the new features coming to the software with the release of Rekordbox ver. 5.5.0. Inheriting the layout design of the DDJ-1000 - which has earned a strong reputation with professional DJ's who perform at weddings, parties, and events outside the club environment - the DDJ-800 packs a host of performance features into a lighter body. The DDJ-800 is the first piece of hardware compatible with the brand new Feedback Reducer feature in Rekordbox DJ, which automatically lessens the howling sound of microphone feedback. The DJ controller also features Color On Jog Display, giving you all the information you need for professional performance right in the center of each jog wheel.

Features:

• Compact/Lighter: The DDJ-800 is 22% smaller in volume than the DDJ-1000 and 1.3kg / 2.8lbs lighter.
• On-Jog Display: This controller has the really nice on-jog displays that everyone has loved on the DDJ-1000, which can show playback time, BPM, and waveforms. It gives you a good sense of distance to Hot Cue / Loop Points, and also allows you to show full artwork for the playing track. Pretty awesome!
• Feedback Reduction: This is a software-driven functionality that only the DDJ-800 supports so far, which is a feedback reduction function on the microphone inputs. It detects when your mics feed back and automatically cuts the volume.
• Jog Adjust: Control your jog wheel resistance with these knobs for each deck, just like on CDJs.
• Sound Color and Beat FX: The offerings here are pretty awesome “ with four Sound Color FX and 14 beat FX. Its a pretty great offering
• Lots of additional Rekordbox DJ designed controls: theres some really good shift layers on these controllers: Key Shift, Keyboard mode, œSuper Fast Search, Hot Cue Pages, Key Sync, Related Tracks, etc. If youre not already a Rekordbox DJ power user, youll become one with one of these controllers simply by seeing the labels on this controller and discovering new functionality.
