Description
The CY‑18DR is Roland’s 18-inch digital ride cymbal (V‑Cymbal) built for high expression. It uses a high-resolution, multi-element sensor system to accurately detect playing dynamics across the bow, bell, and edge, capturing both hard and soft hits. You can even mute (“choke”) the cymbal by touching its surface with your finger or palm, producing natural decay similar to an acoustic ride. It connects digitally to Roland modules (like the TD‑50), delivering realistic and dynamic performance.
