The Yamaha SBT-1309CLW is a 13" × 9" rack tom from the Stage Custom Birch series, finished in an elegant Classic White lacquer that gives it a timeless, professional look.

The shell is made from 6 plies of 100% birch, delivering a bright, focused attack with strong projection and punchy low end — ideal for a wide range of styles, from rock and pop to fusion and jazz. Yamaha’s diagonal seam shell construction ensures excellent roundness and consistent resonance.

Equipped with Yamaha’s YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mount, the tom is able to vibrate freely, resulting in long sustain and rich tone. Low-mass, separate lugs reduce shell contact and allow for easier, more precise tuning.

The tom features triple-flanged steel hoops for an open sound and reliable tuning stability. It comes fitted with clear Remo heads, providing a balanced, versatile tone right out of the box.
