The Yamaha SBT-1309DUS is a 13" × 9" rack tom from the Stage Custom Birch series, finished in an eye-catching Deep Blue Sunburst lacquer that highlights the natural wood grain with a stylish blue fade.

The shell is built from 6 plies of 100% birch, producing a bright, punchy attack with strong projection and clear, focused tone. Yamaha’s diagonal seam construction ensures consistent shell roundness and excellent resonance.

The drum features Yamaha’s YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mount, allowing the tom to vibrate freely for enhanced sustain and fuller tone. Low-mass, separate lugs minimize shell contact, preserving natural resonance and enabling easy, precise tuning.

Steel triple-flanged hoops provide an open, responsive feel and strong tuning stability. The tom comes fitted with clear Remo heads, offering a crisp, versatile sound right out of the box.
