The SBT‑1309MSG is a 13" × 9" rack tom from Yamaha’s Stage Custom Birch series, finished in Matte Surf Green lacquer with a subtle wood grain.

• Shell: Constructed from six plies of 100% birch, delivering a bright attack, focused midrange, and tight low end—ideal for diverse styles from rock to fusion.

• Construction: Incorporates Yamaha’s diagonal-staggered seam for superior shell roundness and resonance.

• Mounting: Features the YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mount for minimal hardware contact, maximizing shell vibration and sustain.

• Hardware: Equipped with low-mass, separate chrome lugs and steel triple-flanged hoops for open tone and stable tuning.
