The SBT‑1309NW is a 13" × 9" rack tom from Yamaha’s Stage Custom Birch series, featuring a natural-wood high-gloss lacquer finish that beautifully highlights the birch grain.

• Shell: Built from six plies of 100% birch (~1.5 mm each), it delivers a crisp attack, clear midrange, and tight, controlled low end—ideal for a variety of musical styles.

• Construction: Uses Yamaha’s diagonal-staggered seam design to ensure consistent roundness and resonance.

• Mounting: Equipped with the YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mount, which secures the drum while allowing full shell vibration for superior sustain and tone clarity.

• Hardware: Features low‑mass, separate chrome lugs and steel triple-flanged hoops, providing open tone and reliable tuning stability.
