Description
Sennheiser MKH 50 Super-Cardioid Microphone – Precision for Soloists and High-Fidelity Applications
The Sennheiser MKH 50 is a super-cardioid condenser microphone engineered for solo performances and applications requiring maximum side sound rejection and lateral feedback control. With higher attenuation of diffuse and lateral sound compared to Sennheiser’s MKH 40 studio cardioid, the MKH 50 delivers focused, clear audio even in challenging acoustic environments. Its switchable roll-off filter helps compensate for proximity effects, while the symmetrical transducer technology ensures exceptionally low self-noise.
Housed in a slim, black anodized metal body, the MKH 50 comes complete with a MZS 40 shock mount and MZW 41 windshield for professional handling and protection. Transformerless, fully floating balanced output and +48V phantom power support make it a versatile choice for studio and stage use.
