The MX405RLP/S is a 5‑inch shock‑mounted gooseneck speech microphone designed for professional audio applications such as conferences, panels, boardrooms, lecture halls, and houses of worship. It has a flexible, low‑profile gooseneck that allows precise positioning. This version includes a supercardioid capsule for focused sound pickup with minimal background noise and feedback. It is configured without an internal preamplifier and includes a red LED status ring near the top to indicate microphone status. The mic offers a wide dynamic range and smooth frequency response for clear, intelligible speech reproduction. It uses Shure’s CommShield technology to reduce radio frequency interference from mobile devices and other sources. The microphone is powered by phantom power and provides a balanced XLR analog output.
