The Shure A58WS-GRN is a green foam windscreen designed for use with larger “ball‑type” handheld microphones made by Shure. It reduces unwanted breath noise, wind noise, plosives (popping sounds), and other air movement distractions without significantly affecting the microphone’s sound quality. It also helps identify mic channels by color when using multiple mics on stage or in a recording setup.
