The Shure A56D is a universal drum microphone mount designed to securely attach standard end‑address microphones to drum rims, cymbal stands, or racks. It allows compact and accurate microphone placement for both live performance and studio use, reducing the need for traditional mic stand setups and minimizing stage/studio clutter. It supports many common microphone types by accommodating standard 5/8"‑27 threaded mic clips.
