The Shure MX395W/BI-LED is a low-profile Microflex boundary microphone designed for professional speech reinforcement, conferencing, and installation use. It has a compact form factor that sits nearly flush to table or lectern surfaces, making it suitable for boardrooms and meeting spaces where minimal visibility is desired. The bidirectional (Figure-8) polar pattern captures sound from opposite sides of the microphone, making it ideal for interview-style or face-to-face speech pickup. The model includes a bi-color LED status indicator which can be controlled remotely via logic input, allowing integration with automatic mixers and control systems. It is built with Shure’s CommShield technology to resist RF interference from mobile devices and operates with phantom power.
