Function:

• Central digital signal processing (DSP) engine for Vi Series digital mixing consoles

• Provides high-resolution audio processing for live sound

Compatibility:

• Vi5000, Vi6, Vi4, Vi3000, Vi7000

DSP & Audio Specs:

• DSP Resolution: 40-bit floating point processing (high dynamic range and headroom)

• Sample Rates: 48 kHz standard, 96 kHz optional (may reduce channel count)

Core Functions:

• Mixing engine: up to 128 input channels and 32 stereo buses (plus LCR/Solo)

• Integrates Lexicon effects (8 stereo processors) and BSS graphic EQs (35 available)

• Full channel processing: EQ, dynamics, delay, routing

Integration & Connectivity:

• Housed in the Local Rack

• Connects to control surface and stagebox via redundant Cat5 or optical fibre links

Expandability:

• Additional DSP cards may be required for advanced features, such as 96kHz operation or expanded I/O capacity
