The Soundcraft Vi400 System Control Module is an official upgrade module designed to modernize the internal control system of legacy Soundcraft Vi Series digital mixing consoles, primarily the Vi4, and also applicable to Vi2 and Vi6 when used with the appropriate upgrade kits. This module significantly enhances console performance while enabling support for newer software and features.

Description

The Vi400 System Control Module (5064930.V) replaces the original “silver box” control module inside the console chassis with a newer, more powerful processing and graphics system. After installation, the console retains the physical appearance of a Vi4 or Vi6, but internally operates and identifies as a Vi400 or Vi600 on the system menu.

A similar upgrade path is available for Vi2 consoles, converting them into Vi200 units.
