Purpose:

• Provides a high-density 64×64 channel MADI link for Vi Stagebox systems over multimode optical fibre.

• Ensures low-latency, reliable digital audio transport between stagebox and console Local Rack.

Specifications:

• Channels: 64 inputs and 64 outputs at 48 kHz

  • Supports 96 kHz with reduced channel count

• Connectivity: Dual duplex SC fibre connectors for redundancy and automatic failover

• Distance: Up to 1,500 meters (1.5 km) with multimode fibre

• Clocking: Operates in slave mode, extracting system clock from incoming MADI stream and distributing to all I/O cards in the stagebox

• Intelligent Detection: Recognizes all I/O cards in the stagebox when RECONFIG is pressed, enabling their audio signals on the MADI link

Compatibility:

• Vi Stagebox only

• Not compatible with Local Rack or Compact Stagebox

• Ideal for large-stage live sound setups or installations where long-distance, high-channel-count digital audio links are required
