Switchable Attenuator (15, 20, 25 dB), Passes Phantom Power

The A15AS Switchable In-Line Attenuator from Shure lowers the signal level of balanced microphone or line-level audio by 15, 20, or 25 dB. It is ideal for reducing the output of high-output microphones, preventing overloads in mixers or recorders, especially in environments with high sound pressure levels. Additionally, the A15AS can be used to decrease the signal from a line-level mixer output to avoid overloading the aux-level input of a recorder.

Featuring a female 3-pin XLR connector for the input and a male 3-pin XLR for the output, attenuation is adjusted via a three-position slide switch. The A15AS also supports phantom power, making it compatible with condenser microphones when used with mixers that provide phantom power.
