The Yamaha TMS-1465CHS is a 14" x 6.5" snare drum from the Yamaha Tour Custom Maple series, designed for versatile, professional-level performance. It features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, delivering a warm, rich tone with excellent projection and sensitivity. The shell’s 45-degree bearing edges provide a perfect balance of sharp attack and smooth resonance, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

Hardware highlights include 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops, Yamaha’s Absolute single-post lugs for enhanced shell resonance, and a durable P-type strainer system that offers smooth, precise snare tension adjustments.

This model comes outfitted with Remo coated Ambassador heads and 20-strand high-carbon steel snare wires, ensuring crisp articulation and dynamic response.
