It features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, offering a warm, resonant sound with rich low-end and crisp high frequencies. The 45-degree bearing edges enhance sensitivity and provide a focused attack, while Yamaha’s signature Inverse DynaHoops help control overtones and ensure a smooth cross-stick response.

Outfitted with Yamaha Absolute single-post lugs, the drum maximizes shell resonance and makes tuning more precise and stable. A P-type strainer system allows for smooth, reliable snare tension adjustments.

It comes equipped with Remo Coated Ambassador batter head, Remo Snare Ambassador resonant head, and 20-strand high-carbon steel snare wires, ensuring crisp articulation and dynamic expression across all playing styles.
