The Yamaha TMT-0807BTS is an 8" × 7" rack tom from Yamaha’s Tour Custom Maple series, designed to deliver rich tone and professional performance on stage or in the studio.

It features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, producing a warm, full-bodied sound with a smooth attack and controlled sustain. The 45-degree bearing edge ensures crisp articulation and easy tuning across a wide dynamic range.

Outfitted with 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops, this tom focuses the fundamental tone and minimizes unwanted overtones. Yamaha’s Absolute single-post lugs maximize shell resonance and provide consistent, stable tuning.

The tom is equipped with Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. mounting system, allowing flexible positioning while minimizing shell contact for better vibration and sustain.
