The Yamaha TMT-0807CAS is an 8" × 7" rack tom from Yamaha’s Tour Custom Maple series, designed for drummers who demand professional sound and standout aesthetics.
It features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, delivering a warm, resonant tone with a smooth attack and balanced sustain. The 45-degree bearing edges enhance sensitivity and make tuning easy and precise.
Outfitted with 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops, the drum offers focused sound and controlled overtones. Yamaha’s Absolute single-post lugs minimize shell contact to preserve resonance and ensure stable, reliable tuning.
The tom uses Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. mounting system, allowing flexible positioning while maintaining full shell vibration for maximum sustain and clarity.
