TMT-0807CHS

The Yamaha TMT-0807CHS is an 8" × 7" rack tom from Yamaha’s Tour Custom Maple series, designed to deliver a warm, powerful tone with excellent projection and smooth sustain.

Built with a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, it offers a rich, resonant voice ideal for a wide range of musical styles. The 45-degree bearing edges provide sharp attack and responsive articulation, making tuning easy and precise.

Outfitted with 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops, the drum produces a focused, controlled sound with minimal unwanted overtones. Yamaha’s Absolute single-post lugs help maximize shell resonance and ensure stable, accurate tuning.

The drum features Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. mounting system, which reduces shell contact to allow full vibration, giving the tom a more open, lively tone while allowing flexible positioning.
