Its 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell produces deep, resonant lows, smooth mids, and a clear, articulate attack. The 45-degree bearing edges provide excellent sensitivity, making it easy to achieve precise tuning and dynamic responsiveness.

Outfitted with 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops, the tom offers focused, punchy sound with controlled overtones, ensuring a clean, professional tone. The Absolute single-post lugs minimize shell contact, enhancing resonance and improving tuning stability even under heavy playing.

The Y.E.S.S. (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system allows the shell to vibrate freely, delivering maximum sustain while offering flexible, secure positioning.
