TMT-1208LCS

The Yamaha TMT-1208LCS is a 12″ × 8″ rack tom from Yamaha’s Tour Custom Maple series, designed for drummers who want rich, warm maple tone with clear articulation and excellent projection.

This tom features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, delivering full-bodied, balanced sound with a smooth, open resonance. The 45-degree bearing edges ensure a crisp attack and precise response, while the 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops help focus the sound and control overtones.

It uses Yamaha’s Absolute single-post lugs, which minimize shell contact and enhance resonance, and the Y.E.S.S. (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system to support long, natural sustain without choking the shell.

Finished in a striking Licorice Satin lacquer, it highlights the natural maple grain while giving a sleek, modern appearance perfect for stage or studio.
