Description
The Yamaha TMT-1309BTS is a 13″ × 9″ rack tom from Yamaha’s Tour Custom Maple series, designed to deliver a warm, rich maple tone with excellent projection and focused attack.
It features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, which produces deep lows, smooth mids, and articulate highs. The 45-degree bearing edges provide a crisp response and make tuning more precise and consistent.
Equipped with 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops, the tom offers controlled sustain and reduced overtones, while Yamaha’s Absolute single-post lugs minimize shell contact to maximize resonance. The Y.E.S.S. (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system further ensures open, natural shell vibration and flexible positioning.
