The Yamaha TMT-1309CAS is a 13″ × 9″ rack tom from Yamaha’s Tour Custom Maple series, designed for drummers who want a warm, resonant maple sound with a bold visual style.
This tom features a 6-ply, 5.6 mm all-maple shell, delivering a rich, full-bodied tone with strong projection and smooth sustain. Its 45-degree bearing edges give a crisp, articulate attack, while the 2.3 mm Inverse DynaHoops help focus the sound and control overtones for a clean, punchy response.
The drum is equipped with Absolute single-post lugs, which reduce shell contact to enhance resonance, and Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system for maximum shell vibration and flexible positioning.
