The RDP2F5BLG is part of Yamaha’s Rydeen drum series, designed especially for beginner to intermediate drummers. It features a bold black-glitter finish that gives the kit a stylish, stage-ready look. The set is a 5-piece shell pack, meaning it includes the drum shells (bass drum, rack toms, floor tom, snare), but typically does not come with stands, cymbals, or pedals. Built with 6‑ply poplar shells, this kit delivers a warm yet articulate tonal character — good for practice, learning, and moderate playing. The bass drum uses a P3-type head that has double-film at the hoop (edge) for a tight, muted but punchy sound.
