The RDP2F5GPU is part of Yamaha’s Rydeen series, made for beginner to intermediate drummers who want a reliable, full‑sounding acoustic kit. It’s built with 6‑ply, 7.2 mm poplar shells, giving your playing a warm and rounded tone that still responds well at different dynamics. The kit comes in a gloss pale blue finish (that’s what “GPU” stands for), giving it a clean, stylish look. Its bass drum is sized at 22″ × 16″, which provides a strong low-end presence, while the floor tom measures 16″ × 15″. There are two rack toms: one 12″ × 8″ and one 10″ × 7″, plus a 14″ × 5.5″ snare drum. For mounting, Yamaha includes two tom‑clamps (model CL‑940LB), allowing you to set the rack toms at flexible angles using ball mounts.
