The AKG PT470 BD7 (3302H00170) is a professional analog wireless bodypack transmitter designed for use with AKG WMS470 wireless microphone systems. Built in a compact and rugged housing, it provides reliable wireless audio transmission for lavalier microphones, headsets, and instrument applications in live sound, conferences, theater, houses of worship, and installed audio environments.

The PT470 features pilot tone transmission that continuously sends transmitter information, including battery status data, to the receiver while helping prevent unwanted startup noise. Its 3-pin mini XLR audio connector supports compatibility with a wide range of AKG lavalier and headset microphones, making it a flexible solution for hands-free speech and performance applications.

Designed for professional wireless setups, the transmitter includes infrared synchronization, an external mute switch connection, integrated charging contacts for optional rechargeable batteries, and a secure on/off/mute switch design.
