The Allen & Heath AH-DX012 DX012 Expander Rack is a professional 1U rack-mountable output expander designed to extend the output capabilities of Allen & Heath digital mixing systems, including dLive, Avantis, SQ, and AHM processors. It provides 12 XLR outputs with flexible configuration options, allowing users to switch between fully analog outputs or a combination of analog and AES digital outputs for maximum system versatility.

Engineered for both live sound and installed audio environments, the DX012 connects via a single Cat5e cable using a secure EtherCon port, enabling placement up to 100 meters away from the mixer for flexible system design. It supports redundant connections for increased reliability or cascade mode for expanding additional I/O units. With plug-and-play operation and automatic firmware synchronization, the DX012 ensures seamless integration into professional audio workflows.
