Description

AMX EXB-IRS4 ICSLan IR/S Interface with 4 IR/Serial Ports, 4 Input Channels, Ethernet Connectivity, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) Support for NetLinx Control Systems (FG2100-23)

The AMX EXB-IRS4 ICSLan IR/S Interface (FG2100-23) is a compact network-based control expansion device designed to extend the capabilities of AMX NetLinx and NX Series control systems. Connected through the AMX ICSLan network, the EXB-IRS4 provides additional control ports for AV devices, displays, projectors, switchers, and other equipment that require IR, serial, or contact-closure control. Its compact form factor and PoE support simplify installation while expanding system control capacity.

The EXB-IRS4 features four configurable IR/Serial ports and four digital input channels, allowing integrators to connect and control multiple devices remotely across an Ethernet network. By utilizing ICSLan connectivity, the interface can be deployed close to controlled equipment, reducing cable runs and simplifying system design in conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and enterprise AV environments.

With Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, the EXB-IRS4 receives power and network communication through a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply. This streamlined deployment approach reduces installation costs and improves flexibility when expanding control capabilities within AMX-managed AV systems.
