When operating in windowing mode, the PR-WP-412 allows up to four HDMI video sources to be displayed simultaneously on a single screen using customizable layouts including Picture-in-Picture (PiP), Picture-outside-Picture (PoP), Quad-Window, and fully user-defined window arrangements. This capability makes it ideal for monitoring multiple content sources, collaborative presentations, and video conferencing applications where multiple participants or content streams need to be displayed concurrently.

In matrix switching mode, the processor operates as a seamless 4x2 HDMI matrix switcher, enabling uninterrupted transitions between sources without visible signal interruptions.
