The BOSS AC-22LX is a premium portable stereo acoustic amplifier designed to deliver immersive, studio-quality sound for acoustic-electric guitars and other pickup-equipped acoustic instruments. Featuring innovative Air Feel technology, dual custom-designed speakers, built-in effects, rhythm accompaniment, USB recording capabilities, and flexible connectivity, the AC-22LX provides an exceptional amplification solution for practice, recording, livestreaming, and live performance.

At the heart of the AC-22LX is BOSS Air Feel technology, which recreates the natural depth, resonance, and spaciousness of professionally miked acoustic instruments. With five selectable microphone-inspired modes—Dry, XY, AB, ORTF, and Mid-Side—the amplifier transforms the direct sound of acoustic pickups into rich, realistic tones that closely resemble high-quality studio recordings.

The amplifier features a 10-watt stereo power section driving two custom 5-inch twin-cone speakers, producing expansive stereo sound that far exceeds its compact size. The Guitar/Instrument channel includes a three-band EQ along with dedicated Reverb and Reverb & Chorus effects, while the independent microphone channel offers an XLR input with switchable phantom power, two-band EQ, and dedicated reverb for vocal performances.

For enhanced creativity, the AC-22LX includes an onboard Rhythm Box with 15 rhythm patterns, expandable to 119 variations through the AC-22LX Editor software. Fifteen onboard memories allow instant recall of customized sound settings for different instruments or performances. A built-in looper, accessible with an optional footswitch, further expands live performance capabilities.
