The BOSS EV-1-WL is a versatile wireless MIDI expression pedal designed to provide hands-free control over MIDI-compatible music equipment, software, and mobile applications. It offers three connection options—Bluetooth MIDI, USB, and TRS MIDI—allowing you to use wireless or wired control depending on your setup.

The EV-1-WL provides wireless MIDI control for compatible BOSS equipment such as the EURUS GS-1, Waza-Air, and Katana-Air, as well as other Bluetooth MIDI devices. Its USB connection provides plug-and-play MIDI control with macOS and Windows computers, while the TRS MIDI output allows connection to MIDI pedals, multi-effects processors, keyboards, drum machines, and other MIDI equipment.

A built-in toe switch provides additional control, while the external control input supports up to two BOSS FS-series footswitches. Bluetooth, USB, and TRS MIDI outputs can operate simultaneously with independent MIDI CC assignments for each connection.

The EV-1-WL can be customized through the dedicated editor app for iOS and Android devices. Users can assign MIDI CC numbers, adjust the expression pedal response curve, configure footswitch operation, and select momentary or latching modes.
