The BOSS GK5-KIT-B is a complete professional installation kit designed to integrate the GK-5B Divided Pickup into four-, five-, or six-string electric bass guitars. Built around BOSS’s next-generation Serial GK digital interface, the kit provides advanced connectivity with compatible BOSS synthesizers, bass modeling systems, and V-Guitar products while maintaining access to the bass’s standard pickup signal.

The system provides expanded fingertip controls that can be positioned according to the player's preferred setup. A dedicated GK knob can control volume or other assignable parameters on a connected compatible device, while S1 and S2 controls provide additional hands-on access to assigned functions.

A three-way toggle switch allows players to select the GK signal, the instrument's regular pickup signal, or a combination of both. The system also provides stable digital signal transmission through the Serial GK interface and includes dedicated wiring for both active and passive bass pickup configurations.

The GK-5B pickup features a slim, flat design with adjustable sensor spacing to accommodate the bridge configuration of many four-, five-, and six-string basses. The kit includes the components required for a complete professional installation, including the pickup, circuit board, Serial GK connector board, level potentiometer, switches, LED, wiring, springs, and screws.
