Description:
The DAS Audio EVENT-218A is a high-performance, dual 18″ powered subwoofer featuring long-excursion LX series drivers, known for their deep, precise, and powerful low-frequency output. Designed for professional touring, rental, and installation use, the EVENT-218A provides reliable sub-bass reinforcement with minimal distortion, even at high output levels.

The enclosure is built for horizontal, ground-stacked operation using durable birch plywood and finished with DAS’s ISO-flex protective coating for enhanced durability. A pole-mount socket on the top panel allows integration with full-range line arrays or other compatible systems.

The integrated amplifier delivers 1800 W continuous and 3600 W peak power, with advanced DSP features including a dedicated Cardioid Preset mode for simple setup of pairs of subwoofers in cardioid configurations. The rear panel provides two balanced inputs (A-B) with stereo high-pass filtered outputs for satellite systems, and loop-thru functionality when the HPF is bypassed. A variable low-pass filter (80–125 Hz), gain control, and polarity switch give users precise control over system performance.
