The Shure CVG18DRS‑B/C is an 18‑inch (45.7 cm) professional gooseneck condenser microphone designed for speech applications such as conferences, meetings, lecture halls, houses of worship, and installed sound reinforcement. It includes an integrated desktop base with an inline preamplifier and a built‑in XLR cable for quick setup on lecterns, podiums or conference tables. The electret condenser capsule and cardioid polar pattern are tailored to maximize speech clarity while minimizing ambient noise and feedback. A mute switch and light‑ring indicator allow easy control and status visibility. The microphone features CommShield® RF filtering technology to resist interference from wireless devices. It requires phantom power for operation.
