The JBL Control HST Black is an innovative on-wall loudspeaker featuring JBL’s proprietary Hemispherical Soundfield Technology™ (HST), designed to provide exceptionally wide and uniform sound coverage from a single loudspeaker location. Engineered for commercial installed sound applications, the Control HST delivers consistent audio distribution across large listening areas while reducing the number of loudspeakers required in a system.

The loudspeaker features a 5.25-inch low-frequency woofer and a specially engineered acoustic design that produces an impressive 180-degree hemispherical coverage pattern. This unique technology helps eliminate coverage gaps and provides even sound levels throughout the listening area, making it ideal for distributed background music and paging applications.

A built-in 70V/100V multi-tap transformer supports integration into distributed audio systems commonly used in commercial environments. Multiple transformer tap selections allow flexible system configuration and power allocation, while an 8-ohm direct-input mode enables compatibility with conventional low-impedance amplifier systems.
