The Korg Volca Drum is a compact digital percussion synthesizer designed for creating experimental and electronic drum sounds using a DSP-based drum engine. Instead of traditional sampled or analog drum synthesis, it uses virtual analog modeling and resonator-based sound design to produce unique, evolving percussion tones. It is built for hands-on sound design and live sequencing in a portable format.
