Description
The Radial Engineering SGI TX Instrument Line Driver Transmitter is the dedicated send unit of the SGI long-distance guitar signal system, designed to convert a high-impedance instrument signal into a balanced, low-impedance line signal for noise-free transmission over extended cable runs in studio and live stage environments.
As a replacement or standalone transmitter (TX only), it must be used with the matching SGI RX receiver unit to complete the system. The SGI TX takes the guitar’s unbalanced signal and conditions it through a high-quality line driver circuit, allowing it to travel long distances via standard XLR cable without tone loss, high-frequency degradation, or unwanted noise pickup.
Once converted to a balanced signal, the audio can be sent across stage or studio environments to the SGI RX, where it is converted back into a standard instrument-level output for connection to amplifiers, pedalboards, or recording systems.
The SGI TX is engineered for maximum signal integrity and reliability, featuring Radial’s precision circuit design and high-quality transformer isolation principles. This ensures the guitar’s natural tone, dynamics, and response are preserved even in demanding touring or broadcast setups.
