The Roland DJ-505 is a versatile two-channel, four-deck DJ controller that combines professional DJ performance controls with built-in drum sounds, sequencing, and music production features. Designed for Serato DJ Pro, it provides large low-latency platters, dedicated performance pads, an integrated TR-series drum machine, a 16-step sequencer, and extensive connectivity for mobile DJing, club performances, live sets, and production.

The DJ-505 includes authentic Roland TR-series drum sounds based on legendary machines such as the TR-808 and TR-909, along with sounds from the TR-707 and TR-606. The step-based TR-S interface and dedicated Level, Attack, Decay, and Tune controls allow you to shape drum sounds and create rhythmic patterns directly from the controller.

Its integrated 16-step sequencer works with the Serato DJ sampler, allowing you to create beats, loops, transitions, and live remixes in real time. Eight dedicated performance pads provide access to Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer, TR, Pattern, and Sampler modes, while the large low-latency platters provide responsive control for scratching and beat juggling.

The DJ-505 also offers professional audio connectivity, including balanced XLR Master outputs, Booth outputs, and separate 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch headphone outputs. Line and phono inputs allow the mixer to be used with external media players or turntables, while a microphone input with onboard effects adds flexibility for vocals, announcements, and live performances.
