The FANTOM-07 features a 76-note velocity-sensitive keyboard and a streamlined workflow built around Scenes. Scenes can store sounds, patterns, clips, effects, and performance setups for quick recall during production or live performances. Its 16 RGB performance pads provide hands-on control for triggering clips and patterns.

The advanced sound engine combines acoustic instruments, synthesizers, samples, and hybrid sounds. The Partial-based architecture provides extensive sound-shaping options, while SuperNATURAL technology delivers detailed and expressive acoustic instrument sounds.

For music creation, the FANTOM-07 includes real-time and step sequencing, an updated TR-REC sequencer, piano-roll editing, clip-based recording, and sampling capabilities. It also provides powerful connectivity for integrating computers, DAWs, MIDI equipment, microphones, and other studio gear.
