The Roland GP-9M Digital Grand Piano combines the sophisticated appearance of a concert-class grand piano with advanced digital technology and professional entertainment features. Its polished white grand piano cabinet, smooth curves, refined details, and functional lid provide an elegant centerpiece for homes, hotels, restaurants, performance venues, and other entertainment spaces.

The GP-9M incorporates Roland Piano Reality technology, connecting the keyboard, sound engine, pedals, audio components, and speakers into an integrated system designed for expressive and realistic performance. Its 88 Piano Reality Hybrid Concert keys feature progressive hammer action, escapement, dynamic sensing, long key pivot length, haptic vibration, and Ebony/Ivory Feel surfaces for a responsive playing experience similar to a concert-class acoustic grand piano.

The Piano Reality Concert sound system uses eight speakers to produce detailed, spacious, room-filling sound with rich tonal character. Combined with advanced audio processing and multichannel amplification, the system delivers a powerful and immersive listening experience. The GP-9M includes 324 onboard tones, including grand pianos, upright pianos, electric pianos, organs, classical instruments, and other sounds.

Designed as a complete digital entertainment piano, the GP-9M includes self-playing keys that can perform songs from its internal library, MIDI files stored on USB media, or additional songs accessed through Roland Cloud using the Roland Piano App. Its microphone input allows vocal performances through the piano, while stereo XLR outputs provide professional connectivity to external sound systems.

Bluetooth audio and MIDI allow wireless connection to smartphones, tablets, and compatible music applications. USB computer and USB memory ports provide additional options for MIDI communication, audio playback, recording, and file management. The Roland Piano App provides access to sound selection, metronome functions, recording, lessons, practice tools, and other features.

Piano Reality Ambience provides simulated acoustic environments such as studios, lounges, concert halls, and cathedrals.
