The Roland LX-5 Digital Piano combines the expressive feel of an acoustic grand piano with the convenience and flexibility of modern digital technology. Designed for beginners, experienced pianists, and families, it features Roland’s advanced Piano Reality Modeling sound engine and a premium PHA-50 hybrid keyboard for an authentic and highly responsive playing experience.

The PHA-50 keyboard uses hammer action, escapement, and high-precision sensing to provide detailed and expressive key response. The keys feature an Ebony/Ivory Feel textured surface that recreates the look and touch of traditional acoustic piano keys. The LX-5 also includes a three-pedal assembly with damper, soft, and sostenuto pedals for realistic performance techniques.

Roland’s Piano Reality Projection four-speaker sound system delivers an immersive and room-filling piano experience. Piano Reality Ambience allows you to adjust the acoustic environment, while Piano Designer provides additional controls for customizing elements such as lid position, string tuning, key-off resonance, hammer noise, cabinet resonance, temperament, and touch sensitivity.

The LX-5 also includes a range of digital features for learning, practice, recording, and entertainment. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect a smartphone or tablet for playing along with music or using compatible MIDI applications. The Roland Piano App provides additional control, educational tools, and access to digital features.

For private practice, the LX-5 includes dual headphone connections and adjustable volume control. Twin Piano mode allows two players to practice together using the same range of notes. The piano also includes a metronome, MIDI recorder, audio recorder, USB connectivity, and support for USB flash drives.
