The Roland P-6 Creative Sampler is a compact sound module and sampler designed for music creation, sampling, sound design, and live performance. It combines Roland sampling technology with granular sound processing, a built-in microphone, USB-C connectivity, hands-on controls, and a powerful sequencer.

The P-6 lets you capture sounds using its built-in microphone, analog inputs, or a smartphone connected through USB-C. Samples can be quickly chopped into sections for triggering, or combined into custom sample collections using Step Sampling. You can also resample your creations to build layered and more complex sounds.

Its granular sampling engine provides detailed control over samples, including grain shape, tuning, playback position, speed, and stereo spread. These controls allow you to transform simple recordings into unique textures and evolving sounds.

The built-in 64-step sequencer includes motion recording, probability, micro-timing, off-grid sequencing, and sub steps. Step Loop provides real-time playback manipulation for stutters, loops, and performance effects.

The P-6 also includes a selection of hands-on MFX such as Vinyl Simulator, DJFX Looper, Stopper, Lo-fi, Scatter, Phaser, and Resonator. BUS FX routing allows effects to be applied selectively, with independent delay and reverb available for samples.
