The Roland SPD::ONE WAV PAD is a compact and versatile digital percussion pad designed for musicians who want to perform with their own samples, backing tracks, click tracks, and audio files. It allows you to easily import WAV files from a PC or Mac via USB and trigger them using the pad with sticks, hands, or feet.

The SPD::ONE WAV PAD supports WAV files in 44.1kHz, 16-bit, mono or stereo format and can play everything from one-shot samples and vocal phrases to complete backing tracks and musical sequences. Audio can be triggered in polyphonic, monophonic, or alternate playback modes, giving you flexibility for different performance applications.

A useful feature for live musicians is its ability to play a click track simultaneously with a backing track. The backing track is sent through the main and headphone outputs, while the click is routed to the headphones for personal monitoring. The Balance Mix control lets you adjust the balance between the backing track and click track.

For creative performances, the SPD::ONE WAV PAD can layer up to three audio files and trigger different sounds based on playing velocity. This makes it possible to combine multiple sounds with a single hit or create dynamic sound changes based on how hard you play.

The pad features adjustable sensitivity and trigger threshold settings and can be mounted to compatible drum and percussion stands, microphone stands, or used on the floor or a tabletop.
