The Roland TB-03 Bass Line brings the legendary sound and sequencing experience of the original TB-303 Bass Line Synth into a compact, modern instrument. Powered by Roland’s Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology, the TB-03 accurately recreates the distinctive squelchy bass tones, expressive controls, and hypnotic patterns that made the original 303 a defining sound in electronic music.

The TB-03 retains the familiar layout and controls of the original, giving you hands-on access to tuning, cutoff, resonance, envelope modulation, decay, and accent. Saw and square waveforms provide the foundation for creating classic bass lines, while the four-digit LED display makes programming and parameter adjustments easier and more precise.

Beyond the original TB-303 design, the TB-03 adds modern performance and sound-shaping features, including overdrive, delay, and reverb effects, fine tempo control, shuffle, and an enhanced Step programming mode. Its sequencer supports classic Pitch and Time write modes while allowing you to switch between write and play modes without stopping playback.

For integration with modern and vintage setups, the TB-03 includes MIDI IN/OUT, USB connectivity, CV/Gate outputs, and a trigger input. USB can transmit both audio and MIDI data, allowing the TB-03 to function as an audio interface for direct recording to a DAW. CV/Gate connectivity also allows you to control compatible analog synthesizers and modular equipment.

The compact TB-03 is designed for portable music making and can run on four AA batteries or USB power. A built-in speaker provides instant playback without requiring additional equipment, while the optional K-25m Keyboard Unit expands its performance capabilities.
